Drat that rat!

Okay - I am not keeping a cat - if I do I will end up vaccuming out cat hairs incessantly and my husband will abandon me because he absolutely hates any pets - but stinky cat litter could be borrowed I guess - sheesh the lengths I have to go to !!! Thanks to everyone who took time to stop by!!

Loss of A Life or Something Like That

I am assuming you'd appreciate a comment on the writing and not an answer to the thoughts you spoke aloud :-) - so I just want to say that it made good reading and was very easy for me to connect to though my experiences with death have been a bit different.

Middling

Yes it is about me but I am sure the perception is too one-sided :-) - I was very sensitive growing up and have a number of incidents etched in my mind that comes out so late! - I should not generalize and I didn't mean to but i still have an outsider sort of feeling even now :-)

Thanks to everyone for the great comments - as a follow up I have to let you all know that the skinny fish passed away a day after I wrote that :-( but the other chap is very happy and fit and loves to nibble on my fingers when I feed him/her - I am very attached to little fatso and hope he/she has a long and uneventful life !!
